Start with reliable input
An AI proposal is only useful when you can compare it with reliable product facts. Gather the material, dimensions, intended use and other relevant specifications first. If a detail is unknown, keep it unknown. Asking for a fluent description should not turn an empty field into an invented feature, certification or promise.
Review in two passes
First check the facts. Does the proposal introduce a material, benefit or use that is absent from the source? Then check the writing: is the description clear, specific and appropriate for your audience? Separating these questions prevents polished language from hiding an inaccurate statement. Shorter copy that says the right thing is more useful than a confident paragraph you cannot verify.
Apply deliberately
Read the selected changes before applying them to your catalog. Keep product names and terminology consistent, especially when preparing another language. After applying a proposal, inspect the resulting product fields rather than assuming the review screen tells the whole story. AI can help draft and rephrase, while the decision about what you publish remains with the person responsible for the product information.
